1 Corinthians 1:19

For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And the discernment of the discerning will I bring to nought.
For it is written and forever remains written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise [the philosophy of the philosophers], And the cleverness of the clever [who do not know Me] I will nullify.”
For it is written, I will baffle and render useless and destroy the learning of the learned and the philosophy of the philosophers and the cleverness of the clever and the discernment of the discerning; I will frustrate and nullify [them] and bring [them] to nothing.
For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will set aside the intelligence of the intelligent.
It is written in scripture: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will reject the intelligence of the intelligent.
Indeed, the Tanakh says, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and frustrate the intelligence of the intelligent.”
As God says in the Scriptures, “I will destroy the wisdom of all who claim to be wise. I will confuse those who think they know so much.”
For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and set aside the understanding of the understanding ones.
For it has been written [in Isa 29:14]: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise ones, and I will set-aside the intelligence of the intelligent ones”.
For it is written: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the prudence of the prudent I will reject.
As the Scriptures say, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise. I will confuse the understanding of the intelligent.”
It says in the Bible: ‘I, God, will destroy all the clever thoughts of wise people. I will show that their clever ideas are useless.’
In fact, it is written: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will bring to nothing.
For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.”
For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.”
[L For] It is written in the Scriptures: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; And I will ·reject [thwart; bring to nothing] the ·intelligence [discernment; cleverness] of the ·intelligent [discerning; clever; Is. 29:14].”
For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will cast away the understanding of the prudent.
Scripture says, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise. I will reject the intelligence of intelligent people.”
The scripture says, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and set aside the understanding of the scholars.”
For it is written: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will set aside the understanding of the experts.
It is written in the Scriptures: “I will cause the wise men to lose their wisdom. I will make the wise men unable to understand.” Isaiah 29:14
For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the intelligence of the intelligent I will reject.”
It is written: ‘I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent’.
For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And the cleverness of the clever I will set aside.”
For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the intelligence of the intelligent I will confound.”
For God says, “I will destroy all human plans of salvation no matter how wise they seem to be, and ignore the best ideas of men, even the most brilliant of them.”
The Message that points to Christ on the Cross seems like sheer silliness to those hellbent on destruction, but for those on the way of salvation it makes perfect sense. This is the way God works, and most powerfully as it turns out. It’s written, I’ll turn conventional wisdom on its head, I’ll expose so-called experts as shams. So where can you find someone truly wise, truly educated, truly intelligent in this day and age? Hasn’t God exposed it all as pretentious nonsense? Since the world in all its fancy wisdom never had a clue when it came to knowing God, God in his wisdom took delight in using what the world considered stupid—preaching, of all things!—to bring those who trust him into the way of salvation.
For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the shrewdness of the intelligent I will thwart.”
Scripture says, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise. I will reject the intelligence of intelligent people.”
For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the learning of the learned I will set aside.”
For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And the understanding of those who have understanding, I will confound.”
For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And the cleverness of the clever I will set aside.”
For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the understanding of the learned I will bring to naught.”
It is written in the Scriptures: “I will cause the wise to lose their wisdom; I will make the wise unable to understand.” Isaiah 29:14
For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will thwart the cleverness of the intelligent.”
It is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of those who are wise. I will do away with the cleverness of those who think they are so smart.” (Isaiah 29:14)
For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”
For it is written: ‘I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.’
For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
The Holy Writings say, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise people. I will put aside the learning of those who think they know a lot.”
As the Scriptures say, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and discard the intelligence of the intelligent.”
For it is written: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will cast away the understanding of the learned.
For it is written, ‘I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.’
For it is written, ‘I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.’
For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.”
For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.”
This is what the Bible says, after all: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the shrewdness of the clever I’ll abolish.
For it has been written, “I will destroy CHOCHMAT CHACHAMAV (the wisdom of the wise ones) U’VINAT NEVONAV (and the intelligence of the intelligent) I will set aside.” Isa 29:14.
For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will cast away the understanding of the prudent.”
For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the cleverness of the clever I will thwart.”
For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the cleverness of the clever I will thwart.”
For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and bring to nothing the understanding of the intelligent.”
This is why the Scripture says: I will put an end to the wisdom of the so-called wise, and I will invalidate the insight of your so-called experts.
For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise. I will bring the discernment of the discerning to nothing.”Isaiah 29:14
God says in the holy writings, `I will fool the wise people. I will bring to nothing the understanding of the clever people.'
For it is written, I shall destroy the wisdom of wise men [I shall lose the wisdom of wise men], and I shall reprove the prudence of prudent men.
for it hath been written, `I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the intelligence of the intelligent I will bring to nought;'
